This restaurant was right next door to our restaurant, so we tried it out first night in Paris. Are we glad we did! We arrived just after 7:00, when dinner service started. The owner took great care of us. He was cheerful and charming. The food was delicious! For a starter I had the poached egg in St. Nectaire sauce. The sauce was like a thin cheese fondue, creamy and delicious. The egg was perfectly poached, with a little square of torched cheese on top which had a few crispy bits to contrast with the smooth cheese. When you cut into the egg, the soft yolk oozed out and enriched the cheese sauce even more. It was so good that I couldn't stop thinking about it. In fact, all of the food was so good that we went back again just before we left town. The service and food were equally entertaining!

Great, cozy, family owned & run, French resto. I tried several menu items, top favorites: the entrecôte steak was juicy, potatoes crispy. Poached egg on cheesy grits (oeuf poche au nectaire) was smooth & flavorful.
